Tallahassee Heights provides a Nursery for children while parents attend church events.  All Nursery staff must pass background screening by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and complete training in the church’s Child/Youth Protection Policy.  Adults and youth are also welcome to volunteer in the Nursery.

Any child age 0-4 years old may attend.

Adults supervise child care for children age 0-4 years old.
Children have access to toys, crayons, children's videos, games, snacks, and a child-sized bathroom.

The nursery is located at the end of the Education building—the two story building next to the sanctuary—closest to the playground. Entering by the playground, the nursery is the first door on the left, the only one with a baby gate.
Two and Three Year Olds – First Floor Room 109 (Nursery).
Four Year Olds and Kindergarten – First Floor Room 106.

Our intention is for child care to be available when needed for parents to attend adult church functions.  The Nursery is always open Sunday mornings from 8:30AM to 12:00 noon.  Child Care is also provided when there are activities schedules on Wednesday evenings.  For other functions parents may request child care by contacting the Nursery Coordinator (see above) or the church office.

All parents are provided with a pager so they can be easily contacted during worship or classes.  Please return pager when you pick up your child so it can be charged and used the following week!

Information Cards
Parents must complete an information card when they leave their child in the nursery the first time.
The nursery is always in need of:
snacks for young children, such as small cookies or Goldfish cracker fruit juice
AA or AAA batteries
Children's DVDs
PLEASE: as most children in the nursery are very tiny, small toys and toys with tiny, easily swallowed pieces are not needed. Thank you!
